Harsco GasServ Strengthens Sales Focus for Industrial Gas Product Lines
Mark Fleischer and Jeff Clay Promoted to Expanded Roles
Domestic Sales Territories also Restructured
MECHANICSBURG, PA (January 25, 2006): Worldwide compressed gas services and products company Harsco GasServ today announced the promotions of Mark Fleischer and Jeff Clay to expanded roles within the industrial gas sales segment of the company’s Taylor-Wharton and Sherwood product lines.
Jeff Clay is promoted to U.S. Distributor Sales Manager. All Regional Sales Managers and Technical Specialists will report directly to Mr. Clay and he will be responsible for the administration of sales and service activities to the gases and welding distributors market segment nationwide. Mr. Clay will also continue his present account responsibility in the Southern Region. Scott W. Boyd, Vice President Sales and Marketing- Industrial Gases, noted that, “Jeff’s extensive experience in the domestic gas community and his familiarity with the gas distributors will be of significant value to Harsco GasServ’s focus on value-added services and total gas equipment solutions. Mr. Clay’s credentials include 28 years of experience in industrial gas, medical gas, cylinder and gas supply chain environments and his broad knowledge of the gas and welding applications will benefit all of our customers in the nationwide distributor market.” Mr. Clay will report directly to Scott W. Mark Fleisher is promoted to Director-Global Accounts & Buying Groups. In his new sales capacity, Mr. Fleischer will be responsible for all aspects of domestic and international sales and service to Praxair, Air Products and Chemicals, BOC Gases and Air Liquide. He will also assume responsibility for sales administration of the national buying groups; IWDC, ADA, AIWD and BIG. Mr. Fleischer will continue account responsibility for Canadian customers, Thermadyne and Airgas East. Scott W. Nate Kondo, Western Regional Sales Manager, will be responsible for an expanded territory including: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, CA, NV, UT, CO, AZ and NM.
Doug Morton, Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager, will be responsible for an expanded territory including: ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, OH, WV, VA, KY and TN.
