Sherwood Expands Global Presence in Compressed Gas Valve Market Sector
Jim Cielinski Appointed Global Sales Manager; James Fisher Named Assistant Global Sales Manager
Mechanicsburg, PA – (August 22, 2005) Harsco GasServ announces the additions of Jim Cielinski and James Fisher to the Sherwood Valve compressed gas sales and service organization. As Global Sales Manager for Compressed Gas Products, Mr. Cielinski will report directly to Scott W. Boyd, Vice President Sales and Marketing-Industrial Gas Products. Mr. Fisher will report to Mr. Cielinski.
Mr. Cielinski will be responsible for worldwide sales of all Sherwood industrial gas valves, specialty gas valves and life support products. Mr. Fisher will assume a support role for the same product lines and assist with related customer service activity. Both men will be based at Sherwood’s Washington, Pennsylvania facility.
Mr. Cielinski’s credentials include 30 years of experience in high pressure gas product sales, industrial gas distribution management, medical and specialty gas applications and product line management. He has extensive international sales and marketing experience in Europe and Asia. Jim graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Business Administration and most recently served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a globally recognized manufacturer of pressure vessels and assemblies. Scott W. Mr. Fisher also brings 30+ years of sales and service management to his new position and his service to the valve industry includes outstanding tenures with the Rockwell International, Kerotest Manufacturing Corporation and EKK Eagle America Inc. “James brings an exceptional base of general valve, pipe and fittings knowledge to our sales organization”, said Boyd. “His experience with account management, distributor environment, supply channels and customer design requirements will have a positive impact on our efforts to introduce our new products to the international valve market sector.”
