Management Team Approach Concentrates Resources on Customer Covenants

MECHANICSBURG, PA (August 3, 2005): Worldwide industrial services and products company Harsco Corporation (NYSE: HSC) today announced the formation of an executive management team to strategically strengthen customer focus throughout the service and manufacturing sectors of its four globally recognized brand names. Derek C. Hathaway, Chairman, CEO and President of Harsco Corporation, commented that, “Management’s mission is to significantly enhance what we perceive to be a current opportunity to improve our customer relations performance. Vice President and Controller, James E. Cline has been named to head the Harsco GasServ executive management team which represents over two centuries of combined experience in the gas equipment industry. Mr. Cline is joined by Scott W. Boyd, Vice President Sales and Marketing-Industrial Gas Products; Donald F. Fabricy, Vice President Sales and Marketing-Propane Products; Hoyt H. Fitzsimmons, Vice President and General Manager-Cryogenics; Michael L. Larsen, Vice President and General Manager-American Welding & Tank; and, Kenneth O. Miller, Vice President and General Manager-Structural Composites Industries.
