TechSpec 2000

  • Premium steel specifications to improve cleanliness, facilitate oxide removal, and enhance properties

  • Ultra high pressure billet descaling

  • Premium forge tooling

  • Shell forgings inspecting to "prime" criteria

  • Ultrasonic testing to insure sidewall integrity

  • Ultra low hydrocarbon process procedures

  • Multi-step ID blast to ISO 8501-1, B Sa 2.5 criteria

  • Dry nitrogen purge: cylinders shipped with positive pressure of dry nitrogen (cylinders sealed with valve or o-ring plug)

 

TechSpec 2000-P

  • All of the features of TechSpec processing with the added benefit of the internal cylinder surface polished to  <0.5 Micron Ra Finished condition

 

TechSpec 3000-P

Electro Plated Nickel Interiors

  • Cylinders are manufactured to the open-end shell, electro plated with nickel to 10 mil thickness, and then processed to completion
  • Nickel plated interior cylinder surfaced polished to:  <1 micron Ra finished condition
  • Electro plated nickel cylinder threads insure internal surface integrity
